My boyfriends birthday is today, and I’m going to see him later this week. I want to get him a gift, without spending too much. The thing is, he doesn’t use giftcards, he doesn’t eat candy, and idk what to get him. Any suggestions for things a boyfriend would like as a birthday gift?

Buy him a poster of something he would like to look at. Get him a T-Shirt that has a funny logo on it; Take him to the movies; Buy him a gag gift from Spencers in a mall; Buy him a DVD of a movie he really likes; Buy him a video game;

I don’t know how old you are but here is another suggestion: Buy yourself a nightie, have him open it and then go put it on for him.

For my 15th bday next week, I am inviting some friends, including my crush, to come see The Dark Knight in IMAX. Do you think handed-out invites are immature? Also, asking for birthday gifts….babyish? I don’t want to rub my crush the wrong way when I invite him.

why wouldn’t people buy you a gift? also, if your inviting your crush, evites are WAYY cooler. I guess u could just say, "You can get me a gift if you want, but you don’t have to."

My dad’s a pastor, he like sweet things like candy but he doesnt like donuts or cake and stuff like that… he cant eat meat, i was thinking of getting him something religious, o and he’s korean, so try to find something good for korean dads as well. or if you could blend both religious and korean together i will give you ten points!! well i give you ten points anyway if your best answer ^_^

Okay, Me and My Sister are having a combined birthday party (Our 12th) and we want our guests to buy gifts for children with cancer instead of for us.How do we put that on our invatations?

Inside the invitation where you have the time, date, and place just write "instead of gifts for us, we would appreciate a gift for a child with cancer. Thank you for helping other kids dreams come true!" You might want to put an age of the children, like for a child age 2 to 10 or something. Maybe even some gift suggestions like toys, books, or games appropriate for young children.

Bath Sets that encourage a relaxed and romantic feeling are usually very well received. Also if she collects something like animals, angels, etc… an addition to her collection would most likely be appreciated because it shows her how well he knows her likes/dislikes.

If it’s for a friend make a cute little scrap book of pictures of you two or of all the things you did with her. Leave some pages blank so she can add stuff if she wants.

Or buy a cheap photo frame and decorate it and again put a picture of you two in it.

My son is turning 1 on Dec. 13th and so confused on what to buy. What are some useful gifts to give a 1 year old? Any suggestions?

Start the day with a big box. Go to a local store. They are usually more than willing to give them out. My brother in law got my son one to play in on his birthday. Kept him busy for literally hours. As for presents, I really suggest to everyone to get the foam letter mats. Get the larger 12 in by 12 in ones. They are tougher for them to get into their mouths and bite pieces off. Legos are wonderful. Or tinker toys, Lincoln Logs. Something where they can build. They love to stack things. Musical instruments. ooh the fun of drums!! Another neat brand is Pop-Ons

We got my son a Step 2 Pack and Go. We had to have it shipped from Chicago for much cheaper than we could buy anywhere near us. It was hard to find. Has a pull out drawer under to hold al snacks and drinks. (the newer model is call the cross country cargo wagon).

My son got all these items from various people for his 1st birthday and still has them all. He will be 3 on Dec 9.

Just curious for some good birthday gifts, and more importantly to figure out the range of what it should be. Should it be more sentimental or something costly?

It all depends on what she likes. Personally, I always try to make the entire day special. If you’re on a budget she’d appreciate something as simple as a picnic out on the beach. The reason being is that it says that you went that extra mile to make her smile. Any idiot can buy a girl something from Victoria’s Secret but it takes someone a bit more sensitive and creative to set up a nice evening.
