For the past couple of years as a teenager I have been given some ridiculous Xmas and Birthday gifts (my birthday is in December) from family members, like easy bake ovens, kiddy beauty sets and other umentionable gifts.I turn 18 the monday after this one and I feel like it is time to do something about this.Because I don’t want to be 24 and get a Barbie as a gift you know??

Don’t tell them, I think it would really hurt their feelings, no matter how nicely you say it. It is hard to think of something to get for people and they love you enough to give ou a present, so just be nice and grown up and accept them with a smile and a "thankyou!"
The you can go and sell them on ebay, or donate them to white elephant stalls, or give them away as presents to someone who you think might like them.
