Presents For Men

Yes I know I already did a post on T-shirts, but seriously, they make fantastic presents for guys!

It’s just that I can’t think of anything that is more universal- every single guy wears t-shirts. No matter how conservative, young or old, they all wear them sometime:

  • sport
  • in bed
  • lounging around
  • at weekends
  • everyday
  • evenings

And as if the range you can buy weren’t enough, you can even print your own- all you need is a photo, or a photo that you have edited (e.g. in PhotoShop) and there you have it- a wearable piece of art that is totally personalised for that one guy!

This is an older practice that seems to have become "outdated" these days.
Ironically, I think it would be really nice of you to do it… and for others to follow your example! The gifts can be small! A few chocolates or candies… anything really!
The sentiment would be really well received by these folks and I think it would be amazing to many how such a small gesture can make both the recipient and the gift-giver smile!

It’s little things like this that we have gotten so far away from in our ever-too-busy lives, but it’s little things like this that can make all the difference in another person’s day!

I say "Go for it!" and BIG KUDOS for thinking in such a nice way!

I while ago I saw a man presenting his propagating methods (from his book) on TV where he combines moss, silicone and Guinness in the blender and then paints it on rocks for an even growth. I’m looking for this recipe and not the buttermilk/yogurt recipes. Can anyone help?

Wow,Guinness! Never heard that one. I don’t have the recipe but good luck finding it

I am trying to figure out what to get my brother’s. I have three and their ages are between 23 & 30. Low on Christmas fund this year due to water heater going out, so nothing really expensive or anything, but something they will be likely to want. Also I live in a small town, so my only real place to shop is Wal Mart or Kmart. Any ideas please share. Thanks!!

At that age, they are still into XBox, wii, or PS. Get a game for them.

Basically, I was thinking, could I write a fictional story with a woman in a career that only men are allowed to have in this present day and age? If the woman had a career in said field, which is extremely controversial and at current, forbidden, would it be good, or would it ruin the story entirely? It’ll be set a few years into the future anyway. Tell me what you think, and thanks in advance! :]

Of course you could.

Trying to figure out what this controversial profession could possibly be. If it’s military, the Israelis have probably gone there already.

As usual this valentines day i have no idea wot to get my man! women are easy, flowers, chocs, perfume etc! but does anyone have any ideas what a man might appreciate?

From the sentimental male perspective:
I, at least, like everything from sweets to stuffed animals holding little hearts.
Much depends on finances, however, in addition to sweets, homemade biscuits, perhaps a framed photo of you, or a DVD or CD or anything else he might like.
One of my techiques for occasions like this is to think of something the person wanted but did not get for a birthday or Christmas. The results of one of these sorts of "you remembered" gifts is usually smashing.

I’ve only been with my current boyfriend for about a month, and now Christmas is almost upon us again I have no idea what to buy for him. I’ve wracked my brains until I’m blue in the face but keep coming up with the same boring ideas. Anyone have any original thoughts? Answers much appreciated!

Well if your boyfriend is in to sports maybe get him a college hoodie of a team he likes. Cologne is a good idea too. Also, I don’t know where you live, but it is supposed to be a harsh winter, so maybe get him a knit hat.

They were for both, but what did they get him next year, gold is pretty hard to beat.

Are they happy to spend a lot of money on their girlfriends and buy them what they like? Will they ever feel being used?

i love buying my girlfriend expensive looking things. like i got her a coach purse from http://www.doiop.com/purse which is sorta cheating because i didn’t have to totally pay for it but she did like it so it works out.

Women have an uncanny knack for making the best of bad situations. We can take the crappiest of gifts and find some way to use them or donate them or what have you.
